Five rules, and why they exist

A marketplace is only as good as the people on it. These are the standards everyone agrees to — clients and freelancers alike — and what happens when they are broken.

  1. 1

Be honest about what you can do

Your profile, portfolio and gigs must describe work you actually did and skills you actually have. Presenting someone else's work as yours is the fastest way to lose your account.

    Fine

    • Showing team work, with your role clearly stated
    • Listing skills you are still improving, honestly labelled

    Not allowed

    • Copying portfolio pieces from another profile
    • Stock templates presented as bespoke work
  2. 2

    Keep it professional in messages

Harassment, discrimination, threats and unsolicited sexual content are removed on sight and the account is banned. This applies equally to clients and freelancers.

    Fine

    • Firm, direct feedback on work
    • Declining a job for any reason

    Not allowed

    • Abuse, slurs or threats of any kind
    • Pressuring someone after they have said no
  3. 3

    No off-platform bait

You may agree to work and pay however you like — but you may not use the platform purely to harvest contacts, push people to paid courses, or run recruitment funnels.

    Fine

    • Moving to email or a call once you are working together
    • Sharing your own portfolio site

    Not allowed

    • Mass-messaging identical pitches
    • Gigs that exist only to sell a course or MLM scheme
  4. 4

    One person, one account

Duplicate accounts used to inflate reviews, dodge a ban or game search results are removed. Agencies are welcome — register as an agency, do not pretend to be several individuals.

    Fine

    • An agency profile listing its team
    • Closing an old account and starting fresh

    Not allowed

    • Fake accounts leaving reviews on your own gigs
    • Returning under a new name after a ban
  5. 5

    Nothing illegal, nothing harmful

Gigs for academic cheating, hacking, fake documents, review manipulation, or anything illegal under Pakistani law are removed and reported where required.

    Fine

    • Security testing with documented authorisation
    • Tutoring and study help

    Not allowed

    • Writing someone's graded assignment
    • Fake reviews, fake engagement, forged documents

How enforcement works

Reports are handled by people, and every decision can be appealed once.

  1. 1

    Report

Anyone can report a profile, gig or message. Reports are read by a person, not a filter.

  2. 2

    Review

We look at the account's full history, not just the reported item. Context matters.

  3. 3

    Action

Depending on severity: a warning, content removal, a suspension, or a permanent ban.

  4. 4

    Appeal

Every enforcement action can be appealed once by email. A different reviewer handles it.

Seen something that breaks these rules?

Report it. Include the profile or gig link and what happened — we read every report, and reporting is always anonymous to the person reported.
